LMS migration to LCF for Welsh libraries

In late 2024 we engaged with our Welsh customers – Anglesey Libraries, Blaenau Gwent Libraries, Caerphilly Libraries, Conwy Libraries, Powys Libraries and Wrexham Libraries – to migrate them to LCF (the Libraries Communication Framework) as part of their move to the new Civica Spydus Library Management System (LCF).

LCF https web services authentication provides a more appropriate, flexible and scalable level of integration between our products and the LMS. Moving to LCF authentication brings additional benefits to suppliers, libraries and end users in terms of enhanced service delivery, improved interoperability, enhanced analytics and in the future will allow greater control over charges and payments.
